License to Complete Photo Solutions and Photomax: As a condition to your Membership and/or entrance to the Complete Photo Solutions Digital Photography Contest, you hereby grant Complete Photo Solutions the permission to display your photograph on the Photomax Photo Sharing Web Site, as it's photo gallery host. You also hereby grant Complete Photo Solutions and Photomax, a perpetual, universal, nonexclusive right to copy, display, modify, transmit, make derivative works of and distribute any Content transmitted or provided by you. You remain the owner of all Content that you submit to the Complete Photo Solutions Digital Photography Contest and it's gallery hosting service provided by Photomax, and as a condition to entering the Complete Photo Solutions Digital Photography Contest, you represent and warrant to Complete Photo Solutions that you are the owner of the copyright to Content you submit to the Digital Photography Contest and that you have given permission to Complete Photo Solutions to display your contest submission on the Photomax Photo Sharing Web Site Service. By entering your photograph, your Content will be shared directly or indirectly with visitors to the www.completephotosolutions.com or www.photomax.com web sites, and you agree that other Complete Photo Solutions or Photomax Users have the limited right to use your Content for viewing, sharing and printing for personal use. You also agree to all Photomax Terms & Conditions.


Talent and Property Release

The uploader acknowledges that they have sufficient written permission of any recognizable locations or people appearing in the photograph to be able to grant to Complete Photo Solutions the right to publish their photographic submission online or in print, and hereby grant to Complete Photo Solutions such right.


Privacy Policy

Complete Photo Solutions does not sell our Members' email addresses or personal information. All information submitted to www.completephotosolutions.com will not be sold or used in any way that violates your right to privacy. Upon registration as a Complete Photo Solutions web site member, email addresses are collected for the purpose of answering questions and keeping members informed of upcoming digital photography contests, digital photography and digital scrapbooking workshops and events, and other company news and offerings.

Spam is never endorsed at completephotosolutions.com. Our email newsletters are sent to all members, but every member has the option to opt-out at any time by using the unsubscribe links at the bottom of each newsletter.

Complete Photo Solutions does not endorse or tolerate unsolicited sales emails, but when Complete Photo Solutions contacts our own Complete Photo Solutions customer/ member/ student database, it will not be considered unsolicited email.


Additional Contest Rules

In addition to the terms and conditions above, contest entries must abide by the following rules:

All entries must be received at the Complete Photo Solutions web site by the date and time as stated at http://www.completephotosolutions.com/contests.html. Entries must be submitted via the web site in 300 dpi, jpeg format. Low-resolution or non jpeg formatted photographs will not be considered.

Entrants are allowed to enter up to 10 photographs during a given contest period (month). You may only enter a given photo once per the contest period (month). No purchase is required to enter a photo into this free photo contest but you must be a registered member, customer, or student of Complete Photo Solutions to enter (it's free to be a member of the CPS web site).

Photos that have placed Grand, First, or Second Prize in the Digital Photography Contest are not allowed to enter any other Complete Photo Solutions Digital Photography Contest - current or future. If you have entered a photo into the Complete Photo Solutions Digital Photography Contest but it did not place as a winner (Grand, First, or Second), you can enter it into other Complete Photo Solutions Digital Photography Contests. Entries that have previously placed as a winner will be disqualified. Photos that place as Finalists in the Complete Photo Solutions Digital Photography Contest can be entered into future contests.

The content of a photo is defined as a combination of subject, point of view, as well as digital interpretation via Photoshop or another image editing program. If a previously winning photo is only slightly altered (so that the main content of the photo remains largely the same) and re-entered into a future contest, it will be disqualified. The determination of whether the content of a photo is altered enough to be allowed into a future contest is solely at the discretion of the judges and their decision is final. We do not recommend entering a photo that has previous won in any Complete Photo Solutions Digital Photography Contests, unless it is a dramatically different interpretation of the original photo, and only if image editing software is allowed as part of the current contest theme's stated criteria.

Winning photos will be posted on the web site within one month of the end of each contest. Although exceptions can be made to this rule, only one photo per participant can place as a winner in each contest. All decisions of the judges are final.

Before being awarded their prize, contest winners will be required to sign a legal affidavit indicating that they are in fact the photographer who created the photo, that they own legal copyright, and that they have written releases for any recognizable locations and people appearing in the photograph.

Complete Photo Solutions will attempt to contact prize winners by email. If the winner does not respond to our email and claim the prize within 10 days, the prize may be forfeited. Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state or local taxes, tariffs or import duty fees.

Complete Photo Solutions reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal value to the advertised prize should it become unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control. All prizes are not redeemable for cash value.

This contest is governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Additionally, if local laws in your place of residence make this contest illegal, do not enter the contest.
