This contest is open to amateur photographers in the South San Francisco Bay Area and the Central Coast of California. This is a FREE contest to promote photography as an art form in the CPS service area. Each month CPS announce a new theme for the contest.

"At the end of a pier over Lake Tahoe, we were admiring the crystal clear waters of Lake Tahoe. There was a single pinecone floating so peacefully on top of the lake, and it screamed Green Icon, and just days before Earth Day too. "
